This Snowbush SoC level IP provides an integrated end-to-end solution between PCI Express and SATA Host using industry-standard AHCI compliant programming model, consisting of three components:

• PCI Express Controller - Gen1, Gen2 Interface
  • Compliant to PCI Express Base Spec 1.1 or 2.0
• AHCI compliant SATA Host Controller Interface
  • Compliant with Intel AHCI Specification 1.3
  • Compliant with SATA Base Spec 2.6
• Bridge to integrate both controllers listed above. The tight integration between two Snowbush IPs results in no duplication of logic, while minimizing power and silicon area.
