University of Toronto PEY Program
Snowbush' student program is currently limited to 16-month Professional Experience Year (PEYs) terms for University of Toronto engineering students only.
Is the Snowbush PEY Program Right for Me?
For U of T PEY students interested in integrated circuit design, Snowbush offers a unique and rewarding co-op experience. The primary goal of Snowbush's PEY program is to give our students a fundamental understanding of what IC design engineering involves. To do this, we ensure that our PEY students play a key role in the Company's design projects, working closely with highly skilled and experienced IC designers. We also rotate our PEY students through a variety of responsibilities, including:
- Circuit-level design of sophisticated analog and mixed-signal ICs in sub-micron process technologies using Spice and schematic capture EDA tools.
- Layout and verification of analog and mixed-signal ICs using physical design EDA tools.
- Test and qualification of analog and mixed-signal IC prototypes
- Design flow support, including technology file creation and scripting.
Am I Right for Snowbush?
Snowbush hires PEY students with the following attributes:
- Excellent academic credentials
- A strong desire to learn analog and mixed-signal IC design
- A dynamic and pro-active approach to working and learning
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
